Registration fee
We ask you to consider making a contribution to support the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community with our administrative costs (website, Zoom, accountant, etc.)
We value everyone's participation, so we are also offering the option of a sliding scale, from $0 - $20. This fee does not go toward dana for the teachers; you will still have the opportunity to offer generosity in that way.
All are welcome, no fee is required.
Currently, we can accept payment by cheque, e-transfer, or credit card. Please note: When you pay by credit card we are charged a 3% fee.
Please note: this is only a registration fee to support SIMC, there will be a separate opportunity to offer dana to the teacher on the retreat weekend. (See info on dana below.)

Led by Pascal Auclair
This evening is for those who self-identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
A Vast, Vibrant & Stable Heart
March 20 and 21: Saturday (9:30 am - 8 pm and Sunday (10 am - 5 pm) (Saskatchewan time)
with Pascal Auclair
All traditions and people welcome!
Together, we will cultivate the courage to meet reality as it is : changing and unpredictable. We will allow this intimate encounter to become the gateway leading us to tenderness and joy. A presence, altogether sensitive, engaged, vibrant and calm --wise!-- will take us to the silent and caring heart of Mindfulness.
This retreat is offered in the Insight Meditation tradition of dana/donation – there will be an opportunity to contribute financially to the teacher, if you wish, and according to your means.
Both events will be held online via Zoom. A link will be emailed to you closer to the event.

The Practice of Dana
The Buddha asked that the teaching of the Dharma be offered freely, without charge, since it is of infinite value, and beyond any price that could be put on it. The tradition of dana, or mutual giving, has supported Buddhist cultures for 2600 years. In Asia, the monks and nuns offer the teaching, and the lay people support the monastery and fill the monks' begging bowls each morning as they walk through the village on alms rounds. It is a beautiful exchange, in which the hearts of both giver and receiver are opened in joy and gratitude, and love flows between them.
In accordance with that tradition, the teachers, in the spirit of generosity, are offering their teachings, time, and service. There is the opportunity for participants to practice generosity in offering financial support to the teachers, in appreciation. By offering your financial support, you will help support the teachers to continue living and teaching the Dharma. Your offering will be warmly and gratefully received.
